And be easy towing a trailer with the M5OD, it's not rated for towing much at all...fairly weak for a stick.

Cool truck though, I believe you'll enjoy it.

I had a guy on the jobsite remake my tailgate cables with 5/16ths aircraft grade, swagelock crimped to a copy of the FoMoCo end piece but made from 3/16ths Stainless we use to anchor terra cotta onto buildings. We replaced the factory anchor stud with a grade 8 stud and its held over 800 lbs so far.

I've never had a problem with the m50d in the 4 that I've had, and I'm pretty hard on them, Zach is convinced that they are weak for some reason. The shift rail plugs start leaking after a while is the biggest issue. Maybe ford has addressed this by now, haven't heard.
