Power Steering Box

Hello All,
Got a 69 Bronco and I want power steering. My question is... Are all the power steering boxes from 73 to 77 the same? Will they fit a 69? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Externally, they are the same. But there is 2 different ratios. The 73-75 5.5 turn and the 76-77 4 turn box.

The power box will bolt in place of your manual box. You will need to make some changes to the steering shaft to mate the column. There are aftermarket shafts available, as well as used factory setups. Or you can build your own with your existing shaft. Ford had different pitman arms for power steering, but the manual pitman arm will work. FYI, the 76-77 pitman arm is unique and won't work with your '69s steering linkage.

HTH,
Jason
