69 Bronco

Hello All,
Anyone know where to get a power steering gear box for a 69 Bronco. Can go up to a 75 I think. Trying to find one in Salt Lake area besides Autozone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

My neighbor has a lot of Bronco pieces and parts. I will ask him if he has what you need. He's a Bronco nut and has 4 or 5 right now from about 70'-90'something.

I "think" the pickup steering boxes are the same, at least from mid 70's, not sure about earlier years.

Thanks mistakenID. It doesn't need to be a power steering box. Manual would work if it's rebuildable. We can get parts to rebuild. The one that is on it now,the previous owner let it run out of oil. A lot of rust inside. Thanks for the reply.

I got a rebuilt P.S. box for my '77 from Henderson's last summer. Cost about $160.00.
Good luck.

xlrs< I finally caught up to my neighbor. He does not have a power steering box. Said he wound up buying his from Ford for $700 because he could never find one used. The pickup boxes do not work either.

He "thinks" he has 2 manual units but will have to look to be sure. He said $50 if he still has them. I know it sounds unusual that he's not sure but you have to understand, he has Ford parts in his garage, shed, larger shed (16x20) and his parents 2 garages and he's been hoarding Ford parts for 30 years.

Post up on www.rockymountainextreme.com. There's a few early Bronco guys over there that might have a box. (I'm a Jeep guy {well, it's kind of a Jeep--mostly K30 pickup}, so I'm of NO help, I'm sure)

Also, it might be worth running the box down to Rocklogic4x4 in West Jordan. They do steering box work and I wonder if they could just rebuild it for you.

Thanks Guys,
Decided to stay with a manual box from Bronco Graveyard. I appreciate your input.
Thanks
Steve
