Odometer on 99'
my odometer has been flickering on and off for about 3 or 4 years now. I havent noticed any pattern to it and it always comes back on at some point, somtimes if i hit the dash it will pop on. My question is if anybody else has had this problem and i wonder what i have to do to fix it. Is the bulb replaceable. Obviously its not bad or it woulda burned out right? i dont know what to do really with it, other that keep driving it. Just gets a bit anoying when im trying to right down my miles and trip at the pump and its not lit so i can see it, and i dont know where to reset it for sure, its kinda guessing game to reset it lol. any help would be great

do a search for odometer problems, it is a very common problem. what happens is the connections on the board arent' making a good connection anymore, usually you can re solder them and that solves the problem, some where on here there is a how to on how to fix it. good luck

my 2000 f150 has started doing it. One time, it sayed 102,113 miles on it and then it turned off when I was driving, then it turned back on around 10 miles later and it sayed around 102,123 miles, so it is still turning over when it doesn't light up.
