hey guys, i cant thank you enough, i changed out my batteries and the old girl is running fine again, any one ever have there a/c release pressure under the hood, kinda like a mist spreyed out?
Anyone have any experience with a/c releasing at high pressure? I have no idea and this was a part of another thread...so I figured I would repost to see if anyone can help this guy. Thanks!
All A/C systems have a relief valve that will vent the high pressure side to atmospere before part of the system explodes. Why it lifted could be a # of things:
Compressor clutch stuck engaged
Over-charging the system
Blockage in the system (most likely at the orifice tube)
Those are the 3 I can think of off the top of my head.
