based on the limited information you gave, i am going to guess it is your driveshaft. i have a few questions for you.
1) is your truck lifted?
2) how many miles on truck?
3) are the u-joints on the driveshaft worn?
you can check this by getting under the truck and pressing on the driveshaft next to the u-joint. press up and down and side to side and look for any play in the u-joint. there are 2 u-joints so check both.
at 60K miles, my u-joints were sloppy so i had to replace the driveshaft. yes, replace the driveshaft. My '04 Crew had a non serviceable driveshaft which means you cannot replace the u-joints - you have to buy a new driveshaft. I think in '05 or '06, Ford changed to an aluminum driveshaft that is serviceable.
I had virbration problem in a 05 screw 4by4 after 3 visits to the service dept, I took the truck to a private tire company and had the tires trued (shaved and removed the high spot) then had them balanced and it solved all the virbration problem, what a major improvment.. hope this helps
FX4DUDE,
Truck is not lifted have 26000 miles has been there since new but they just keep saying there are ones that are alot worse this was the second engineer to look at it in the year or so I have had It They say It is at allowable level(ha). There is constant vibration felt threw the gas pedal.I know the tires re junk but they'll have to wait till there used up til I put real tires on Michlines the only good tire out there get what you pay for on those.
You may want to check into roadforce balancing, most ford dealerships have it and some aftermaket tire stores. It is a well know fact that tires and rims are not prefect (they are not round) They only have to meet minum requirments, what that requirment is, only the tire and wheel maker knows!

Im unsure of how "severe" the vibration is, but I've heard exhaust resonance is to blame for some of those occurances. I have a very slight vibration here but its only felt when I Stomp on the gas... wether stopped or moving. If I remember correctly someone on here had acutally notice thiers dissappear after putting an aftermarket exh. on. But in this case you should not have to deal with purchasing such a thing (if it is related).
But I'm basing all this upon the idea that you feel it at a dead stop... if not....disregard...
