Brake Booster Replacement
I have been having a problem over the last few months that I think I've narrowed down to the brake booster. I have a "crunching" noise coming from the brake pedal. It gets worse as the temperature goes up. Is this a "Do-it-yourself" project, or one better left to the experts? I am fairly competent (Oil changes, brake rotors, pads, etc.) Are there any special tools needed? Any help would be appreciated!

I asked not having an answer for any engine but only to help out those others who may read this.
I have the repair manual on CD but cannot find it...
