what compressor for hvlp
I'm looking at getting a compressor as the one I have isworthless for tools and painting. I see in Eastwoods line of hvlp sprayers that they require about 13 cfm at 30 psi. Most compressors I look at don't come near that unless they are very large. What should I be looking at getting for just a one time, (maybe) paint job?

Why not rent one if there is the possibility that this will be a one-time deal? Get one large enough to keep up with the 13 cfm. My experience over the years has been that air tools are usually a little underrated and compressorts are usually a little overrated when it comes to cfms. If you rent one for this job it should give you good indication about what size you need if you buy one later on.
