Looking for information

I was hoping someone could clue me in about HighBoys. I have a 1970 HighBoy that I know nothing about. If someone has some info that they'd love to pass on, it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Welcome to FTE nutmeg!

It's my understanding that Ford never actually called any truck a Highboy (or Hi-Boy), but it's a nickname that's been given to F-250 4x4's built from '67 to '77-1/2 with a divorced transfer case. If you do a search through the forums, you can find a slew of threads on this. Heck, you can find a lot of info about everything Ford truck-related here somewhere!

Dittos Vern, hiboy is just a term for Ford trucks that need a step ladder to get in the cab. No more no less.

Dennis, If you have a 65 F100 4X4 with 35s on it, you have a hi boy. IMHO
