I was just wondering what an approxiamate value of this would be. It is aluminum/stainless? finished. it is actually in real nice shape. only one little ding in one of the crossbars. what is the $$ value. As well, i know that this grill was only used one year. is the same true for the rad support? Thanks
Research in ebay motors. depending on condition, light buckets trim etc. etc. I've seen them for $100.00 and up. Rad support I have not seen for a while don't recall any pricesI hope this helps some.
Staying low for now

Grilles on all 61-66 trucks are unique to the year of manufacture. In other words, a '65 grille was only used during the '65 model year. However, all grilles are interchangeable so long as the turn signals are also addressed.
Think you will find the grille is anodized aluminum, and have to be carefull, it's not something you can hammer and buff out. If minor ding may try tapping with small dolly and hammer, otherwise, do not suggest repair if ding is something you can live with. As probably aware, anodize is a thin protective coat to seal the alum. Would not pay top dollar, and would use the ding explaining to seller it's not easily repaired. Purchased an anodize alum. grille from salvage yard for $40 but it was in very poor condition and took serveral labor intensive hours to recondition, does not come out as original but I was pleased. Took grille to plating shop and got quote of $350 to re-anodize, and plater said he would not suggest chroming the grille because alum is soft. Have couple extra steel grilles considered chroming if alum. did not turn out right. As other member's have indicated, see the grille on ebay on occasion for what ever the bidder's will bear.
Well when I was in need of a grill I looked everywhere and just when I was getting ready to put in a 66 repop I found one on Ebay. Somebody else wanted it almost as much as I did and we got into a bidding war.
I ended up paying $235.00 for the grill including shipping. It was oxidized and I spent about 40 hours stripping the anodize and welding a couple of spots and polishing. It came out great. It came with headlight buckets and doors also a set of turn signals with surronds.
Two weeks later I watched a NOS grill with nothing but the grill go for $700.00
I was happier with the used one since I also needed buckets and doors.
So if you put it on ebay you could get top dollar. Or you could be nice and sell it to me for 100 bucks as a spare....hehehe
Sorry, did not realize you want to sell the grille. Suggest selling on ebay, point out flaw, and see what it goes for. You can put a reserve price you won't go under.

I just put a 65 grill in my 64 it almost was a bolt in. I had to drill a few new holes and hammer a couple releif spots. the 65 grill uses a lot less mounting bolts then the 64. I have a pr of 65 aluminum blinkers and lenses, 65 aluminum grill(needs work) and a 64 steel grill available.
