To the left of the cig lighter, below the cup holder on my 06 250, there is a funny plastic clip. Won't hold papers, what the heck is that??

Clip or a hook? If it is a hook, it is for a trash bag to hang from.

That where the ashtray goes, but most superdutys dont come with the ashtray. The hook is for a trash bag. I bought the ashtray to replace to hook to hold my change.

your refering to that extremely useful trash bag clip i never see anyone using. The only one i have ever seen used was for a cb mic clip
