Does anybody know of somebody in the Dallas area that has a "history" of doing the Volari thing to F100's. I'm lookin for somebody to do that installation on my F100.
You don't really need a specialist to install the Volare, just an experienced welder and cutter. You just need a tutorial on how to do the installation. I would suggest the video from No Limit Engineering on the installation. That's what I used for mine and so far my 56 is running great with the clip. Good luck
How long did it take you to do it. I really don't want my 57 in the weeds, but a little lower wouldn't hurt. How does it ride and corner.
Thanks,
Steve
If you really tackle the project it shouldn't take more than a month. I haven't had a chance to give the suspension extensive testing becuase I just got mine on the road but it does do a lot better than the stock suspension.
I have a 79 302 in my truck with a front sump oil pan. You have to put in new motor mounts for the engine so if the pan does get in the way a little you could probably mount the engine higher?
Haven't done it yet, but just picked up the
Volare clip last weekend to put into my
55 F100. Looking for templates now
(well, waiting for $150 to spend on paper
I guess!).. XMAS project.. also 8.8 rear swap.
the volare front end is adjustable with
a socket wrench.. so it can be raised/lowered
as needed..
