1967 bed side molding clips
What clips does the 8' bed side molding take. I know what the ends take but what clips go in the middleo of the trim.

Look on Dennis Carpenters catalog online. Should have them listed with illustrations.

Try the lmctruck.com website. I bought mine there for my 70 highboy.

Don't know about Dennis Carpenter site, but the LMC catalogs (print and online) show you all the clips for every piece of molding, using a shape key. The ones you want require that you rivit them to the truck, then the molding just snaps on. Did this a few weeks ago on my 69 F250 Ranger and it was pretty easy.

1967/68: Be aware that there are two different widths of upper side mouldings.
1967, 1968 before serial number C56,001: The mouldings are 1 1/4" wide.
1968 from serial number C56,001, 1969, 1970/72 Custom/Sport Custom: The mouldings are 1 1/2" wide.
The moulding clips are specific to these two widths.
Pages 108/111 of DC's '67/79 truck repro catalog (2011 paper version) is wrong, says only 1967's have the 1 1/4" mouldings.
If buying moulding clips for 1968's assembled before serial number C56,001, they are the same clips as 1967's.
The serial number is the last 6 digits of the VIN.

Anyone know how it takes per side I know that each end has a metal one that bolts on, but what about the middle.

Info taken from the '64/72 Ford parts catalog illustrations of mouldings/clips.
1967 131" Styleside pickup upper side mldg. clips
per side.
Since not all these clips are the same, the numbers in parentheses are for the specific types of clips used for each moulding.
Front fender mldg: 6 (3, 2, 1) / Front door mldg: 5 (3, 1, 1) / cab corner mldg: 2 (2) / Bedside mldg: 10 (8, 2).
