Someone mentioned that the I should not rely on my Edge Attidude for the boost readings because it reads from the Map Sensor which does not register anything over 22PSI. Is there any truth to this? That would seem like an odd number for a map sensor to stop reading at to me, but I want to make sure because if I need to install a boost guage I want to make sure I do so..

Yes this is true. The MAP sensor starts shutting (defueling) the motor when it sees too high of
a PSI(above 22). U need a boost regulator installed in the MAP line near the MAP sensor amd then T in your boost guage line near the manifold. Actually i recommend the AIH delete fitting from Pure Diesel.

Do you you know how high of a signal the map sensor puts out? That's what I'm curious to know more than what the computer does with the signal (IE cutting fuel at 22psi).
I have the Bully Dog Outlook Monitor and it plugs into the map sensor and I read a boost pressure as high as 31psi. That's with the Bully Dog chip on the 75 hp setting. But sometimes my check engine light will comme on and then go off.
just tell him to make a big as a cooler that will fit. get some measurements off a 6.0 technicooler and then get him to make you one. get him to make me one too. the only downfall on the intercooler is that the air has to travel through about 8 or 9 feet of tubing before getting to the engine, and that's not counting the IC...
