Hey guys I need some help.. I have the door ajar light on all the time. I have looked at the wiring diragams and they all feed back to the SVM modual.
I have tried the WD40 trick on the locks and it didn't help. Now I want to go to the SVM and check the wires back. Where is the SVM and how do I get to it..??
Silverrv,
I had a similar problem with my 2003 SC. My door ajar light stayed on and my auto locks would not work. Took it to the dealer under warranty, they fixed it right away. Dealer said it was just the sensor in the door. They accessed by removing three torx screws and locking latch in the end of the door. Don't know if it would be the same for crew cab?
Well guys I found the problem.. It turned out to be a reset problem. I had tried undoing the neg lead on the battery and that didn't fix it. With the key in I pulled the #19 fuse (2002 F250 cc) and put it back. It must of reset the SVM because all seems well now.
