Help I've Had A Fire

I have a 1992 Bronco and it started on fire in the engine compartment, it melted part of the engine wiring harness. I need to know if a wiring harness from a 1992 Ford Truck would work. Bronco has a 302 engine, would they be the same?????

302 Bronco, 302 F-series, same year, no problem.

Make sure the F-150 is 4X4 and a/c if yours has a/c.

i have a similar issue.. is the wiring harness that plugs into the alternator, what u are asking about? Mine has melted and i dont know what the proper term is so i can order another one. is it just called alternator wiring harness??
