I was told by a proammer that it was a sticker typically found in the door jam on Ford trucks (sent pic also) but it wasn't there on the LT. By chance would you know where the ECM is located on the LT?
No, the PCM is actually located under the hood, at the top of the firewall, just left of center on ALL 2004 & newer F-150 models (which includes the Lincoln Mark LT). You will find a code sticker usually just to the right of the PCM. The code format will be 3 letters followed by 1 number, and some of the more common codes for 2006 Lincoln Mark LT's are: DCC0, MJZ0, MJZ2 & UVE2.
We've specialized in performance tuning the F-150 platform longer than anyone else, and provide assistance to a number of the major chipmakers as a result of our many years of R&D on them, so we know them well - this is also why most people come to us for our Troyer Performance custom tuning for these vehicles, as our results are well known to deliver maximum safe & sustainable power & performance gains, as well as the best driveability, etc.
We also offer special discounts for members of Ford-Trucks.com.
Good luck finding your catch code, and don't forget that there is a good possibility that your truck has had it's PCM updated to a completely different code without your knowledge - this can happen either at the factory before it was ever shipped to the dealership, or at the dealership prior to the first owner taking retail delivery, and never be documented (though they are supposed to be documented with a "Notice of Authorized Modification" sticker under the hood, this is rarely done any more). This is why in many cases we will send the XCal 2 out blank so you can read it' actual strategy, and then email the tunes, which is very easy to do to make sure everything is perfect. This is just FYI so you'll know.
