CAI filters

I want to install a cold air intake on my truck but with all the arguements about oiled filters letting in too much dirt. I was wondering if there is a good paper filter that can be replace to work for a cold air system. Please give my your thoughts on this and if it even exists.

Actually if you look at your stock Intake it is a CAI. Though not made of metal for better heat dissipation but still it is ducted to receive Cold Air. With that being said. ANy drop in performance paper filter will do you just fine if thats what you are looking for. The advantage of the oiled filters are that they are reusable so over the lifetime of your truck...it will save you money.

Stick with the stock filter, oiled filters can cause problems with mas. Plus they don't clean as well imo..
