I have a "68" F100 with a spicer 44 rear end. The left side axle is twisted and I need to replace it. I have tried all the local junk yard and they have even used the "hot line", but to no avail. Someone out there must have an axle for sale. Might even consider buying the entire rear end as long as it is Posi. E-mail me with some info if you can help!

I have a 69 F100 that has what I have thought is a Dana rear end (no not fully floating axles, regular 1/2 ton axles). The differential looks like a Dana to me, but I didn't know Spicer made 1/2 ton rear ends. Anyway, if you are in the the Seattle area, I'm willing to part that truck. The rear end in it is limited slip and around 3.50 or 3.55:1.
I live in Redding CA, but have friends/relatives in your area. I need more information though...
1. How long is the axle measured from the back of the axle shaft to the end?
2. What is the sline count?
3. Tapered roller bearings or Ball bearings?

Ford did install Dana - 1/2 ton model axles in the F100's. I have the axle codes listed on my site for the '67 model year. It's a neat option. Some of these were locking models.
