Does my truck have a computer

I have a 1992 F 250 7.3diesel na with a 5 speed transmission. Does it have a compute on board or did these older trucks not have one? If it does, It sure dosent have any control over the engine because it is mechanical. I think the E4od automatics had computers but Im not sure.

My 93 with manual does not have a computer other than the one behind the steering wheel - per my wife.

no computer on the idi engines. only a trans controller for the E40 D setups. You looking to do something or just for info?

Just for info I guess.........Its cool to know that I am one of only a handful of people who drive around a vehicle that doesn't have a computer....lol

No computer, as long as you can get 12 volt to the Injection pump fuel shutoff valve and the glowplug system you can still roll this puppy down the hill and get her started, been there, done that.
