Motorcraft ATF

Bought a case of motorcraft ATF from the stealership. It was multi-grade
mercon-v mercon and dexron III. I thought ford was against multi-grade,
and did not recommend it???????

I bought a case of 12, need at least 14. Can brands of ATF be mixed with no problem?

Also should I put in an additive?

I get my Mercon V from my local Ford dealer too,at $3.00 a quart.Yes,you can mix other brands with Motorcraft.
I add a bottle of Red LubeGuard at each transmission flush.
