C-4 leak

I installed a c-4 in my 66 F-100 and over all it is a good setup. Howwever, it is starting to leak very slight around the rod that the shift rod hooks to. Is that a big thing to replace or do you need to take it to a transmission shop?

Where exactly is the leak? Is the leak behind the bigger (shift lever) or near the end where the kick-down lever is attached w/ a nut and lock washer? If the leak is in the end you may be able to fix it, since it is just a O-ring that sits under the the kick-down lever/lockwasher/nut that seals the kick down lever shaft. If the leak is around behind the shift lever than the transmission needs to be tore apart to get at it, since this lever is bolted on from inside the transmission. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my C4 tranny for my 77 F150 right now and I was just looking at these seals 10 minutes ago! Good luck.
