sea foam question

I have a 97 f150 4.6 w/ 185000 miles, and I have done a lot of searching on using the sea foam in the motor. I like to give mine a thorough cleaning, but am a little worried about any damage that can be done because of the high milage. If it wont do any harm, I saw that you suck about half a can through the brake booster line, then let the truck sit for 15 min, and go run the **** out of it till it's done smoking. Does that sound correct?

what problem are you trying to fix? i am of th theory, if it runs good, do your normal maintenance and keep it up, forget the sea foam. if you got an old clunker that is full of crud and on its last leg and no other options, then give the sea foam the last shot.

I have used seafoam in my truck numerous times. It has 165,000 miles on it. Runs like a champ after every use. My uncle also uses it on his 2000 expedition. Also my dads 92 t-bird has over 200,000 miles and started running like crap, dying and stuff. Ran some seafoam thru it and it started runnning 100x better.
