I've looked around quite abit but can't find what i'm looking for. I'd like to know what all the numbers mean for the Motocraft Carb on my 74/75(not sure, reg says 75, parts say 74). Heres what I found on the tag:

Sometimes a design carried over for several years, so casting numbers and tag numbers may be from previous years.
There should be a number on the side of the carb, behind the accelerator pump rod, with a circle/star around it. The number will be something like 1.21, that is the size of the venturis in the carb. Cross that number over using the chart in the top post in this forum to find the size of the carb in cfm.
The numbers on the tag are all you need to get a rebuild kit for the carb.

D4TE = TAG NUMBER PREFIX
JA = SUFFIX
D4TE JA is the IDENTIFICATION number and crosses to D4TZ-9510-JA and was replaced by D4PZ-9510-BG.
Gasket Set = D4AZ-9502-A
Tune-Up Set = D4AZ-9A586-A
Repair Kit = None
Parts List = 30J
B4H 22
B= Design Change
4 = Year of Mfg. = 1974
H = Month of Mfg. = Aug.
22 = Day of Mfg. = 22
