ash tray
My ash tray keeps falling on the floor while im driving any idea how to fix it? I don't smoke or let anyone else for that matter but would like to have it fixed. Also can I get a new spring for the rear seat, it got caught on the seat when I was taking it out and now the spring is all jacked up?

Take the ashtray out and install some Mechanical gauges there like I did! 
You might be able to take the spring to a hardware store and they may be able to match it up for you. That or try the local junkyard.

I don't think they have a spring that big at a hardware store and i'm not sure I can do the mechanical gauge thing either since the computer uses information from the factory gauges. Mines a '96, but again I could be wrong about the gauges I just know they wouldn't work on my '94 tempo.
