I have a 72 Ranger XLT that I am currently restoring to original condition the only things I can't find are an original steering wheel with the woodgrain horn bar and the woodgrain tailgate panal. I get LMC and Mac's Autoparts catalogs but no luck. Does anyone know of another catalog that might have these parts.
It's not the surest thing, but I've seen quite a few hard to find items on Ebay motors Search: 1972 Ford Truck. I've seen plenty of steering wheels with the cruise and wood grain....even wood grain inerts for the door panels - never one for the tail gate though..
Adam, Derek is right, Ebay, the big swap meets, salvage yards, all are great places to look. The big thing is to not hurry, take your time, and don't worry about the one that you missed. You will find the perect one if you look hard enough and stay focused.
