Thoughts for Ranger customization

I have some ideas for my dark green ranger. BTW, will 17" Mustang bullet rimes fit on a Ranger? i was thinking of fixing up the ranger with lambo doors, mustang rims, a body kit, some shelby stripes, a V8, different tailights and headlights, putting SVT ghosted on the tailgate (painted), and putting a big sound system in. yes i know. but do you like my ideas?

Pretty ambitious. Hope you have a deep pocket.

Which mod are you going with first?

You could save weight, and paint by leaving the doors off, easier to get in. Bet nobody else would have a customized ranger with no doors !!!

forgot to say i was going for a tonneau cover too. probably NOS, maybe not. might get me in trouble. but yeah it may be a tuner truck when i am done with it, hope not. no hydros. NO TALKING ME INTO IT. they mess up the suspension.

The '99 Ranger I had before the current one was a custom that got me many compliments. It was a Flareside which was lowered 3" and had an aero kit which gave it 6.5" at the doors and dead level. I replaced the grill shell, added a billet grill and cut down another billet grill to fill the valence opening. I added a flush hard tounnau cover, removed the rear bumper and installed a roll pan. I added a Y-connector after the cat and put 2 small mufflers with pipes that exited at the middle of the roll pan with custom stainless 1 into 2 tips that angled up at 45 degrees for 2", giving me 4 pipes out the middle. I put color matched slotted overlays over the corners. I put in a white dash face and an Explorer overhead console. I had a 2-scoop hood and was about to cut slots in the rear fenders when telephone pole attacked the truck and destroyed it. I have done a few mods to my current Edge but doubt if it will ever equal that '99 in my eyes.

Not sure what year you have, I am going with a set of drop I-beams 4-link in the back custom tranny X-member ,relocate the radious arm,and bag all four corners. The stang wheels will fit on the truck had a set on my last Ranger with a 5" drop...JPC
