Yay!....Doh!!!....Help!

Update on my 66. I've almost got it completely stripped of the last 40 years of paint. I discovered the first layer of paint (part of it, anyway) and thought it was turquoise, but after looking in the galleries, my truck looks more green. Any ideas? The paint code isn't on the decoder so I'm guessing at the color. The "Doh!!!" part is the driver's door that looked to have only one small rust hole turned out to be swiss cheese so I'm on the hunt for a new door. On the positive side, there turned out to be ZERO rust anywhere else on the truck or any body damage for that matter.

Well that is good to hear that you got the paint off and there is hardly any rust on the truck keep up the good work

I posted an ad on craigslist and someone replied that claims to have an aftermarket door fo $80. Is there an aftermarket vendor or is this guy trying to scam me?

I've never seen anyone offer an aftermarket door for Slicks. And that seems awfully cheap.

My thoughts exactly. Even more suspicious is that he wants money up front and can't tell me who makes it. I had to tell him "No, thanks". Oh well...

Anybody have any thoughts on the mystery color? Possibly a website with representative colors?
