Same here, I've owned several GM products as well and they were fine.

My first and last experience with GM was a 02 1500 4x4 , biggest pos I ever bought , traded it in asap..

As for VW diesels , I want one too , anyone considering buying one needs to check their states laws, I live in NH where they are OK to have but Massachusetts doesnt allow them..

I don't have anything against GM either, just perfer ford trucks over the other. I just hate to see people get screwed by dishonest dealings, don't care what you are buying.

This seems odd to me,that our goverment wants us to use less oil and then tell us we can't drive some cars that can run on bio-deisel.I just got back from the beach and my 2002 goldwing got 40 mpg and my wife was driving our 2005 VW deisel jetta and it got 54.5 mpg.Thats the best it has ever got,30,000 miles on it.Maybe its just now getting broke in.

I think it has to do with emissions and the EPA.

I nursed an 83 K5 4x4 blazer for years and thought it to be a good truck and have owned other GMs without many problems so I bought an 01 Silverado 2500 and couldn`t dump that thing fast enough before my beloved PSD! I got on the GM forums back then and everyone was complaining it seemed about the shimmy shakes in the drive trains and all of a sudden mine was doing it. Wind noise, poor milage, uncomfortable cab, hated it. Sorry for the hijack.

Don't get me started. That state has some strange "statutes". I guess big rigs will be outlawed there soon too? Yeah right.

Strange "statutes yes. But I don't think they'll be that numb to outlaw the big rigs.

But lets not give them any ideas ether.

The jeep liberty is also banned in one or more states if it has the package with the lights on the roof due to no lights above headlights statutes.

GO DIESELS.

Back in the old days Lighting packages like that were not an issue as long as they were covered. I don't see why they would want to change things now.

wait it is those braindeads that we elected in office that is the problem..

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, it has to do with emissions reg's.
I used to live in MASS, the state has serious problems, I here the VW gets
45 mpg's , isnt that good for the enviroment, the politicians in MASS are always looking for a new thing to regulate, you cant even buy beer in a grocery store,
good luck getting a concealed handgun permit.. Dont get me going..
I'm very happy in NH now..

How else would they say "I am doing my part for (insert cause here) so please re-elect me."?
