I don't know if there is one. I was in San Diego last year and inquired directly to the Bilstein office there. They said (at that time) there was no Bilstein steering stabilizer for my '00 F250.
I ended up with a Rancho Suspension stabilizer. It works fine with my 285-size tires. If you want bigger tires than that, I've heard it recommended that you go to a two-stabilizer system.
Well, how do you tell that the stock one is bad? It seems to have some fluid around the seal which I cleaned off but still reappears. I am thinking it is bad and want to change it and since I have bilstein shocks, thought it would be matching and nice but Rancho might work as well
That is, unless you expect it to damp steering oscillations. Oh, and when it starts leaking, it damps even less.
My truck had 89k on it when I bought it. The shocks didn't leak, but they let the truck go bouncy-bouncy down the road. The steering damper didn't leak, but the steering wheel was pretty wiggly over rough ground.
Replaced the shocks with Bilsteins and the damper with a Rancho Suspension unit. I'd like more suspension damping, but at least bouncy-bouncy has been tamed. And the steering wheel no longer wiggles, even though I replaced the stock tires with 285/75s.
Mine was in an awkward oval shape from previous owner coming down on a rock or something. I am now just getting around to replacing it. But if it leaks, or lots of play in the wheel, then it is probably time. The replacement monroe I used is much beefier than the stock one by far.
