If u get under the front of your truck, infront of the axle look up at the front of the engine block. Look throught the belts and below the water pump is the CPS. Its held in by a metal clip with a bolt. The bolt i belive is 10mm, when u get the bolt out unclip the wiring harness from the CPS and turn&pull the CPS out. But make sure that the area above, below, beside the CPS is clean so you dont knock dirt into your block! There is an oring on there too, if your replacing the CPS make sure you lube the new one up for an easy installation. The metal clip holding the CPS in the block holds the CPS at a certain angle, be sure its positioned the same way when you put the new one in. On a scale 1-5 (1 being brainless, 5 being PITA) ide say its a 0.9.
If you go down a bit in that thread you'll find some links to changing the CPS, one of which has a pic or two, to help complement what's been said already.
I changed mine out. There is even a guy in the forums who is 63 and blind in one eye that did it in less then 20 minutes or so. Just follow everyone's advice and go for it. It is a lot easier to do it if your truck is lifted, pull it up on a curb. Good luck.
