need computer help

My computer is running pretty bad, again. Normally i would think its spyware but i have two different programs that dont detect anything. Heres the problem: 1 One program that i have opens up at windows start up, this is an option for the program but i have it turned off, and when i close it, it opens right back up about 5seconds later. 2 Theres a program/file that i suspect is constantly running i believe it wsa system32/cmd*****. 3 for some reason the "ctrl+alt+delete" function dosnt respond, and yes all three keys do work. Anybody know what i should do?

What program is opening? Right click on the task bar (bar at bottom of screen) go to task manager, processes, look for the program that is running and confirm you only have one instance of that program installed. System32/cmd***** is supposed to be there! Don't mess with any of the system processes!

Actually cmd***** should only be in the task manager if you have a dosbox open. A normal windows boot should not invoke it. To me, it sounds somewhat like a virus.
