I have BFG AT285/70/17 on a stock 03' F-150 FX4. No rub and clears lower wells by an inch or more. I was told by about 10 different dealers that this was the largest I could run in an all terrain. Tires are the exact look I wanted and gas mileage stayed the exact same..

Yes. Plus I run 35x12.5x17's, on the stock wheel there was only minor frame rub on a hard turn. With my new wheels with 4.5" backspacing and 8" width there now is no frame rub but since the tire is out a little further I needed to trim the plastic on the bumper a little, but thats running 35's(315).
