First i'll start off by saying hello to the forum. I signed in several months ago and been using your archives for info so a few of you i learned a little about from your answers helping others. Now my problem, 1999 F350 7.3psd s6-650zf 2wd. The truck starts and runs fine but no throttle responce. To resolve my acceleration problem checked fuses fuse links. I have also checked the apps and ivs with an volt ohm meter for voltage and smooth restance reading. An OBD 11 code read was done it shows PASS/no codes to erase this was done w/koeo and koer but service engine light still on. Trying to keep post short ask any questions i,ve left info out on.I have a 350 wiring diagram, any testing points ideas or???.Would be appreciated thanks for the help and vent.

probably you idle validation switch is bad or not making good connection. remove the connector and jump the 2 terminals and see if you have throttle. if you do the switch is bad and it costs about $700 from ford cause you gotta buy the whole pedal assembly but wait cause i was looking at mine the other day and if a guy were handy with some metal skill you could get a micro switch from radioshack and make a bracket to hold it then wire it in and then you are good to go. try that and let us know what you find!
You can buy the full pedal assembly from powerstrokeshop.com for approx $125, comes with both sensors and quick shipping. Good sponsor company to deal with!
