I read a post on here a few weeks ago about some shackle extensions, not sure of the name, but they raise the front leaf springs and were on ebay, if someone could help me out on it that I would be much obliged, and if they have put them on and can give some input that would be even better. Even best if they would buy me some and put them on for me
I tried contacting the guy and he didn't give up any information on them or reply for that matter. That in itself makes me very hesitant to buy from. Sounds like they be good but without further information on them, I'm not buyin
i would not run them, simply because it increases the angle of the front driveshaft. the longer shackles tilt the pinion toward the ground, and it makes the shaft angle steeper than it needs to be, and plus i heard it makes the steering funky.
I bought the kit from ebay and installed them 6 months ago. The driveshaft angle was not changed very much and has no vibrations when locked in. the truck sits sooo much better now and drives exactly the way it did before. I am very happy with this kit.
