Eliminating A/C

Can anyone tell me where I can find and A/C eliminator kit for an 87 F-150 w/ a 302. I can find them for mustangs and thunderbirds but not for a truck.

Yeah, but I rebuilt my motor and I just dropped it back in and I'm not putting my compressor back in. When you don't put the compressor back in the belt rubs on top of the water pump when going to the power steering pump so you have to install and idle pulley in the place of the compressor. But the problem is is that I can't find one for an f-150. I bought one that said it was fo a mustang thinking it would fit but it doesn't.

I went to a Ford dealer. They had the AC eliminator kit. It was the bracket with the pulley. I think it ran me around 20.

Crazy

Man it's 95 degrees in KS and my A/C run about 33 degrees. I would not get rid of it for any performance.

I'm not getting rid of it for performance I would have to redo the entire a/c system to get it working right and I don't have the money right now. I just finished rebuilding the motor and I just really want to crank it up and get it running. Trust me down here in Louisiana it is very hot and humid in the summertime.

I know this is old, but do you remember the part number for that kit?

Well, just an update. I ordered the parts from ly local ford dealer. And guess, to my surprise, what I found out..... About a little over a month ago ford took the "kit" that included the mount and the pulley and superceeded it into 2 parts. Not a big deal, just that now each part costs just as much as the whole kit did. Now for you fellas out there with an older truck, say 80 something up until 90, then you guys are still safe and can get just the 1 part number which is the whole kit. Again, go figure....
