Got the 8ft stepside box home, helped the neighbor move a 72 Dodge truck out into his back 40. Changed oil in my 85 with Synthetic oil. Fix the riding mower a bit and started to get some grass cut, carry the trash out and burn it.(have incinerator), now I'm here on line checking things out before shower and bed. Tomorrow planting a garden, more lawn to cut. If I'm good maybe get to that fun run.

Work still. But at least I have got some fishing in after hours. Then when I get home its more bodywork on the 84F150 4X4 . I'll have to figure out if its worth doing the small patches over the rear wheels or if its better to do the whole box side. Or look for a decent box. Still have a windshield to put in but I might bow out of that one I have never put one in so if I go ahead with it wish me luck.Thats if the good looking partner doesn't have to many other projects for me.
Have a Great Day Guys
Duncan

I usually get Speedy to install the later model (80 and up) w/s for me as they are glued in and after buying the install kit there isn`t much if any saving in cost. As for repairing the box check out patch panels as there are some good ones that are quite big in area that they cover as well as there are complete side panels. Looking for a used box can be a hassel and for a decent one the cost can be abit much. Depends on your time and welding skills.

Spent saturday at the farm doing odd jobs and sunday I helped a friend who is moving to Assiniboia and on the way home I stopped and picked up a 78 Goldwing from a buddy who didn't want it any more. He hit a deer with it last summer and he was going to fix it then this spring he decided not to. So now I have a twin to mine, not sure what I am going to do with it either.

I would fix it up if I was you corner, be neat to have two of them! Myself I went out to sandy lake manitoba to look at a diesel truck with my dad. Turned out the truck wasnt very good and we made teh trip for nothing. Found out my truck made 22 mpg on the way back though, not bad for a 4.6 auto 4x4 with 285's on it eh!

That's pretty good mileage, I haven't got that with a gasser since my 96 4x2 with a 302. Shame about the truck but I know how you feel, I've made a few trips like that myself. As for the Goldwing I am still deciding what to do.

If you really, really want I might be able to find an empty spot in one of my garages just big enough and give it some excercise once or twice a month.
