Eddie for my 302

Thanks for the move, Tiger.

I believe 600 cfm, maybe 550... thing is designed for chevy and is jetted at factory for fuel efficiency and not otherwise modifiable in terms of jet kits, I'm told.

Well, there you go! If you put a carb designed for a (GASP!) Chebby on a Ford, it will self-destruct!

It's 600 CFM so that's not out of line for a mildly modded 302, but if it's set up for a small block Chevy it's probably jetted a bit on the rich side for a 302 and of course won't have the Ford kickdown linkage, which isn't a problem if you're running a stick.

But check out this article, it has info on setting up that very carb for a Ford:

Wow, I am impressed and grateful 2! I do have an automatic, but I believe that I purchased a Ford linkage with it.

Thanks much and very glad I posted here!
