Can anyone tell me where to find the vin# on a 1971 Ford F350? It was manufactured in Canada. It is not in the windshield or the driver's door. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you. mjbough
Martha, Look on the passenger side frame rail between the axle and radiator support. It will be stamped on top of the rail in that general area. You may have to get a wire brush after it, but it is there.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
Thanks for your response. My husband found it BUT there is 1 number missing. He said it looks like someone had put a screw in it for some reason. He said he understands there are a couple more places where it is. Do you happen to know if there is and where it is? Thanks again, Martha.
Hello again! He still can't find it. Could you be a little more specific as to where it is? Is it any other places that haven't been mentioned yet? Sorry to keep bothering you with the same 'ole questions. Martha
Hi Martha, Help me a little, is the cab off the chassis?
Where does your hubby think the missing digit is, it could be in the production run? Do you have a title to work against?

The cab is not off and the missing number is in the production number, the last one I believe. He needs this number to get the truck registered. The vehicle hasn't been licensed for a while and BMV says it has been taken out of the records. All BMV has to do is try each of the 10 possibilities but they don't want to for some reason. Bill thought there were 5 or 6 possible vin locations, so far 3 have been messed up. Thanks for any help you can give us.
