300 starter question

I have a 67 F250 with the stock 4 speed stick and a 1989 fuel injected 300 that I convertered to carb and intake and hedders. My question is which starter should I use???? One for a 89 is bigger than the one for a 67. And the 89 has a different angle on it. I took my starter off because I was getting some pretty nasty and loud noises. Fly wheel is no good and it looks like the ring gear was rubbing on the starter just a bit. This is using the 67 one. Thanks

I'd say try the 89 one for it. You can always take it back to Autozone. And if possable, put the fuel injection back on it. You'll get more power and better mpg out of it...
