I was wanting to put some aftermarket lights on my brush guard to run of the aux switches in the cab. I'm not looking for off road lights, just something that is stronger with a wider range for incliment weather or otherwise when regular factory lights aren't good enough. I did see some lights that turn black when you have them off, which I thought was cool, but I just don't know if they are offroading lights or not and i can't remember the brand namen on them. Any suggests on what are the best brands, size etc. and I want to be able to easily replace the bulbs when they go out so something that can easily be replaced when they go out. Thanks.
I assume you meant the Hella Black Majic lights. I thought they were really cool too but a tad pricey. Also if you read over Hella's website they say driving light pattern is to compliment high beams and fog light pattern is to compliment low beams. I am not sure if this means that thier driving lights are too bright to consider legal when you have oncomming traffic. I actually emailed them that question and they never responded.
My suggestion would be to get the hella ff100 or ff300. I got the ff100 set on ebay for $25 but that was a steal of a deal. I beleive both sets can be had for about $115. I'll have to find the email with that link in it though... let me know if your interested and I will look for it. Oh, an Hella's site for auto lighting is http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...e_Lighting.jsp
