suspension questions
looking to see if a 2inch add-a-leaf (tuff country) off my 01 would fit on an 02 X? Also looking to add a small lift to the X (under 4in) does anyone have pics of that? Thanks

For pics, I'd check around online, not too many people have them on here.

I added the Tuff-Country Front Add-A-Leaf 82111 to the front of my 2002 7.3L diesel Ex, and it raised it about 2.5", not just 1.5" as claimed.
So, now I am looking at adding Tuff-Country's Add-A-Leaf 82950 2" rear lift springs.
Anybody have this setup?
I tow several boats - the largest being a 26' offshore sportfish - about 7,000# ...

I'll add pix when I get the rear end up to a decent height ... the front lift I added has made it look a little odd ....

Anybody have the same setup?
Sounds like Rancho 5000 shocks would be a big help as well!?

How about that big fat (heavy) muffler - should I toss it aside and test with a straight pipe as well?

My stock BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires (yes - I'm still at only 55k miles) are load range "D"?
Sounds like I need to go to load range "E" and a size up on diameter ...

Those old things? Cut them clean off and replace them with a 4inch system from MBRP. It'll sound better and your truck will love you for it.
If you go to Discount Tire co, you can trade up to 285/75/16 Load Range "E". I.e they should be able to give you some money back on your old tires towards a new set. Load range "E" is always the smart way to go with these big heavy beasts.
Where do you live btw?
