looking to see if a 2inch add-a-leaf (tuff country) off my 01 would fit on an 02 X? Also looking to add a small lift to the X (under 4in) does anyone have pics of that? Thanks
-Andrew
Andrew, there is a much better way of getting some lift out of your truck. The funny thing is, the answer comes is made by Ford. Stewart_H did the V&B code spring swap on his '00 Excursion and it makes a world of difference in handling and ride quality. Can't find the thread, but I'm sure Stewart will chime in.

Andrew, like Tor said, you might wanna consider ditching your POS OEM 4x4 springs and replacing them with a set of OEM F250 4x4 springs.
The Add-A-Leafs gained me about 2.5 inches in front - but now the front is 1/2 inch higher than the rear with a full tank (and worse with a boat), so I'm adding the 2" lift Add-A-Leafs on the rear ...
I'm in Charleston, SC, which would show up if/when I get 25 posts and can put together a proper signature.
Charleston... I've piloted my Ex on 17 through the high water downtown...on my way to California Dreaming for the greatest house salad ever made on earth period!
More than once!

Sorry to hear you had to run through high water downtown - thats often saltwater in big rains at high tide.
Cali Dreaming is good - have several friends who keep their boats there at Ripley Light Marina ...
