I blew a tire (Firestone junk) Sunday on the right front. The tire locked up the wheel rotation before I could get safely off of the freeway and the wheel skidded on the pavement ruining it. I'm looking for a used replacement wheel for a 2000 F250 SD.
Upgrade? What's wrong with stock wheels? On the other hand, I don't know if mine are stock or not. Got the truck at age 5 yrs. Have 16" aluminum wheels.
I have 4 (four) 2001 F250 Lariat Rims with tires (95% tread left) LT265/75R16. They are just taking up space in my garage. The tires and rims have seen less than 1000 miles on them. Make me an offer (PM me). I was going to give them to my brother-in-law, but he just traded his F250 in for an F150. Hope you are close to Chicago...
i have a never used stock size (p265) tire with 100% tread that i took off of my truck because i needed room when undercoating, the winch didnt work and i have no need for it with 33" tires. so, if you want it i will give it away pretty cheap plus shipping. it's the factory steel. PM me and i can get pics and we can maybe work something out if ya want.
PS- i went out and took a peek at it upstairs and it has a tiny bit of surface rust on it, but it's still a never used rim and tire.
edit- Dang youre in TX and im in MD. thats a long way for a tire. go out in your driveway in about two days, i will be rolling it down the road in a few.
What part of Texas you in? I have a set of 2001 Lariat wheels that came off of my truck. I found a set in better shape. I'll give them a 7 out of 10. They have some scrathes on them and I don't have the center caps. But they are in the way and I'm tired of looking at them.
If you're interested let me know. I'm in New Orleans, but I'll be leaving at weeks end for a weeks vacation.
Thanks to all who replied. I found a spare wheel ($100.00) at a local tire shop and am getting tires put on as I write this. From the poor shape of my old tires I was not able to wait to get this done. Again. thanks to all. You guys and this forum is great!
