Rear windows leaking

I have a '99 x-cab with the opening side windows. I washed it today and noticed that the three places on the window with the black buttons for the hinges and the latch are dripping inside. Has anyone fixed this. I am going to try the obvious and remove and put a little bit of silicone around and reinstall. Will this work or does someone have a better fix. Thanks.

I have used clear GE silicone and it always does the trick!
