Wildlife safety

Overheard on CarTalk yesterday: " The Alberta, Canada Parks Department has warned hikers to be very careful of bears in the area. They advise wearing some kind of sound-making device, such as a small bell, to let the bears know you are there without startling them. It is also recommended to carry pepper spray. And learn to tell the difference between black bear and grizzly bear droppings. The black bear droppings are smaller, and contain berries and squirrel fur. The grizzly bear droppings contain small bells, and smell like pepper spray...
