Tune-Up advice ? ?
97 Explorer XLT V8 AWD 5.0, 118k miles
I am considering doing a tune up myself, never done anything like this before. What tools would I need, and what parts? Is it complicated?

I suggest you do the plugs and wires. No special tools are needed, just normal spark plug ratchet setups. Flex head ratchet helps quite a bit, and so do different length extensions. Best way to get to most of the plugs is through the wheel wells. Do one cylinder at a time to avoid messing up the firing order. Make sure you put anti-seize on the plugs, and di-electric on the wires.
