Brake lights don't work: '92 GMC

My dad was backing out of the driveway today and I noticed his brake lights didn't work. We figure they haven't worked since he let a guy borrow it to pull a trailer a while back.

We replaced the bulbs, fuse, and brake light switch. All other lights work fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Check the vehicle harness end of the trailer pigtail, it's probably come unplugged. Also, check for voltage before and after the brake switch and the turn signal switch. Make sure there is a good ground for the lights.
