My 2005 F-150 supercrew has a wind noise coming in on the upper right portion of the windshield (passanger side). Its wind noise that you should hear with a window down, but all windows are up and u can still hear it goin 70mph on highway. There's obviously something wrong, because you cant hear it on the driver side. I've been to a Ford Service Center and they said they fixed it, could still hear it, then went back and they attempted to fix again...still hear it on highway. Any ideas, I could really use some help! Thanks.
A tip that I saw on an car TV show was to take a piece of paper to see if it was particually loose in any area where the door seals would be. You can also use a smoke detector to try to blow a small amount of smoke through the seams and even near the glass. If it comes from the inside to the out, you have found your leak.
For the cheaper trick, close the door on the paper and make sure that it is not loose anywhere in the door seal.
I find my new 150 to be very very quiet for wind noise. Hope you can fix yours.
