Yes, I did a search first but didn't find any answers...
I have a 2001 Ranger Edge 4x4 with Four doors...
I am getting wind noise on both doors.
The problem is where the windows meet the top rubber seal.
If I click my power window button down just a tab for the passenger side, the noise decreases but I can still hear it.
To find out where the leak is get a mechanics stepiscope turn on your air or heat full blast. Take the scope and listen around the seals when you hear a hiss mark it on the door with masking tape. When you find the leaks you can buy a kit to make the seal thicker in that spot and voila no more noise.
This is the same EXACT problem that I had. My dad and I fixed it by putting a small piece of rubber weather stripping between the window and the window seal. Close the window all the way and look up at the top of it in the inside and see if you can see out at all. The hole in our ranger was large enough that you could see out of. That is where we pushed the seal into. First time it was too tight and the window didn't want to work all the way. Second time we got it right though. I'm sure there are some kits to do this though too. Hope this helps!
